Two established artists formerly at New Greenham Arts, Newbury. A diverse range of work from ceramics by a master craftsperson to sculpture using unusual materials such as human hair.

Julie and I will welcome you from 10.00 till 5pm each day during Open Studios.

Directions: Folly Farm Studios is half way between Basingstoke and Kingsclere on the A339. Turn left into Folly Farm which is opposite Pitt Hall Barn - the Wedding Venue. Park and follow the pink Open Studios signs to the middle of the first building on the left.

Over the weekend of 15th & 16th September (open from 10.00 till 8pm on Saturday and till 5pm on Sunday) some of Britain’s finest potters, cabinet makers, jewellers, glass and metalworkers will be demonstrating their expertise to visitors alongside the exhibition, offering rare insights into their highly skilled work. Pottery Workshop at Folly Farm

Create in Clay “Hand Building - Coiling”  

Learn the technique of making pots by using coils of clay. Explore different forms and complete two different shapes by the end of the day. We will start by making a couple of pinch pots to get used to the clay and how it responds.

One-day workshop 10am - 4pm  £55 suitable for all abilities, children from 10 years and adults. (includes materials and firing)

Work will be ready for collection three weeks after the workshop. For glazing and glaze firing there is a charge of £5 per item.

A half-day modelling workshop for adults at New Greenham Arts. Looking at images of stone carved heads and green man sculptures for inspiration, half life-sized faces were made out of terracotta clay.
